TSH corporation -leak of information?

TSH Corporation just released news that it is diversifying into property development in Australia, it is not advisable to do so when Australia property market is peaking. However, if you noticed its share price was rising for no reason during the past few days before the news was announced, yet SGX has done nothing to query the company for this rise.

Quite scary, since April Fool’s, TSH Corp’s share price went up ~50%!

Wonder what criteria does SGX look at in order to trigger a query.

As for TSH Corp, they are probably late in the game. Many have made their moves already – Aspial, Hiap Hoe, Suntec, AMP to quote a few.

Not too sure about Australian property market peaking.

Yes mining boom probably softened, but two drivers will continue to provide support for the Australian property market – (i) sustained population growth due to immigration & organic growth (GDP growth around 2-3%), (ii) good yields on prime properties ~5-6%.

thanks for your feedback.population growth is also found in US property market before the financial crisis, yet its property market also slumped. as for good rental yields, when economy growth worsen, rentals rates will fall accordingly. Australia has been a lucky country for many years, betting against it is indeed foolhardy but i chose to be a contrarian, i may be wrong though.
