Love:The investment of all investments

Before you commit to loving someone, you will try all means to check out the person on his/her background, interests, strength/weakness etc. Similarly, investment in stocks require you to do research in the company’s finance, growth prospects/ hidden assets(tangible/intangible) and management, etc.

Once you have decided to love someone, you will stay for the long haul and not adopt a one-night stand mindset as it not only hurts the person you love but hurts yourself as you have put in effort in understanding the person.

Similarly, in buying stocks, one will keep faith and hold for long term so long the business is sound and management is wise and willing to share weal and woe with shareholders. It doesn’t matter if there are cyclical ups and downs, like in love, there are also disagreements and “cold wars” at times.

As long the value of the stock doesn’t become impaired permanently, making it a junk stock, it is worth holding. In love, as long the other guy/gal loves you and trusts you, you should not abandon them for whatever reason.

Once you’ve given that person all of those feelings, you have made the most profitable investment you will ever make. You have invested in love. Let it appreciate in value!
