Word of the year 2010 surely belongs to inflation. Coincidentally, the Taiwanese also choose this word 涨 as their word of the year 2010.

FT just reported that spice prices have erupted in India. Many other countries are also facing inflation problems which could pose social, political problems.

If FED continues its QE, expect more inflation to come your way. Oil price will break $100, etc.

It is a treacherous 2011 ahead. Happy New Year!
