Goldman’s brand still good as gold?

Goldman Sachs has been criticised in China’s state-controlled media for selling oil hedging contracts to Chinese companies (presumably state-owned)that lost billions of dollars when oil prices plunged in 2008 and 2009.

It’s image has already been tainted in US. If it wants to find its pot of gold in China, it needs to learn to appease the China government, perhaps by absorbing some of the losses.
