Shanghai is building the tallest building in China, 632m tall, 121 floors, costing 15 billion yuan, in its bid to become world’s premier finance centre in 2020.

Although the Dubai building record is still intact, it still sparks concern of a property bubble in China. Dubai building was finished last year and it changed its name due to infusion of money from Abu Dhabi. Will Shanghai new building face something similar to Dubai. Cross your fingers until 2014 when it is expected to be completed.
