A tug between China Bulls and Bears

Michael Pettis wrote an article on FT, affirming the view that present China’s growth model is unsustainable and will lead to “painful financial contraction” one day. However, it does not lead to a collapse due to urbanisation, productivity increase and liberalisation of financial system to support SME due to pressure from contraction.
