Berkshire gets into the hall of fame

Finally, Berkshire Hathaway is included in the S&P 500. Warren Buffett, who has shielded his company from traders propensity to buy/sell shares at a whim have to accept that they could be his shareholders too.

It’s good news for the index as Berkshire is simply too big a business to ignore. But, don’t expect Berkshire to do wonders for S&P as Warren has promised that returns will be lower that the past.

With lots of cash committed to Burlington, there will be less to spend on huge acquisitions in the future.

The talented artist has decided that it is time to put finishing touches on his masterpiece.
