Thomas Friedman lectures Jim Chanos on China

Thomas Friedman, the well-known New York times columnist has just penned a column, telling readers not to believe Jim Chanos’ hype on shorting China’s housing bubble.

Imagine Warren Buffett telling Bill Gates that Windows 7 is a dumb idea. Investing is certainly not Friedman’s field of competence. Would you rather listen to a well-known short-seller with a good record of prediction or a layman whose “the world is flat” prediction is becoming less believable in a de-globalisation world.

Ignore Chanos’ warning at your own peril.
